Episode 206 – Jane
Xavier and Gary set their plan in motion. Back in Paradise, Sinatra takes action, while Gabriela follows a new lead, and Jane’s past is revealed.

The 6th episode opens on a flashback to May 29, 1997, with a Circuit City employee reading an e-mail from someone named Alex Q. to Don stating that “A Killer will be born on June 6, 12:01AM. She can be stopped when it matters; if not, you deliver a message to her.” He is understandably very confused by this but continues to be bombarded by the same message.
Somewhere in a hospital, a baby girl is born to a woman with no apparent family. As they leave the hospital, Don approaches her and tells the mother that “She’s a killer; not now, but she will be. But she can be stopped when it matters.” Security tackles the man but we learn that the baby is in fact Jane. OH SHIT.

Back in the present, Xavier and Gary scope out the train yard to finalize their plan to rescue Teri. In the bunker, Agent Robinson is taken to the underground prison. Jane pays Sinatra a visit at her home to update her about Link’s group outside the bunker. We get a flashback to Jane as a child who appears to be talking to imaginary friends. She seems to be so jealous of her mom dating someone, that she locks them both in a sauna and cranks up the heat. After letting them out, her mom decides to teach her a lesson by locking Jane inside telling her that the guy at the hospital was right and that she is the worst thing that ever happened to her. In the present, Sinatra’s daughter makes Jane promise not to let anything happen to her mom. Gabriella is searching her records for any information about Alex, and stumbles on a recording of a past session with Sinatra.
In a senior advisory council meeting, Sinatra briefs them about President Baines’ death. Jane states that Robinson is in custody. Sinatra then reveals the group waiting outside the bunker. She needs consent from the team to move forward with whatever her plan is. Gabriella bolts from the room for some reason. Down in the prison, Jeremy approaches the engineer about his plan to open the bunker. The engineer starts to poke holes in Jeremy’s plan, seeing as he’s the one that designed the entire bunker, but does give him some valuable information.

In Sinatra’s office, she meets with Jane and admits to being terrified of Jane, rightly so. But says that Jane is the only person left in the bunker that knows her secrets. She also reveals that she knows that Jane was the one that shot her. She admits to being a killer and says that she needs someone like Sinatra in order to do what she does best. Sinatra says she’ll meet with the militia and needs Jane to go outside and negotiate the terms.

10 years earlier, Jane was training at The Farm (CIA training center). Her boss teaches her meditation to help her think clearly in stressful situations. Clearly, this has helped her in the bunker.

At the diner in the bunker, Presley approaches Sinatra’s daughter to see what she thinks about what’s going on. Presley also says that her mom is not who she thinks she is and leaves her with that to chew on. Gabriella visits Robinson in the prison to discuss what she’s learned and trying to figure out about Sinatra. But Robinson has given up on trying to fight the system. She does, however, let Gabriella know that Sinatra isn’t dangerous; Jane is.

Jane is sitting outside the bunker watching Link’s militia group and decides to approach, appearing innocent. She hands them Sinatra’s terms but flips and holds one of the men at gunpoint. Jane says that Sinatra is only agreeing to meet with Link. The negotiate until it’s decided that five of their men will meet with her unarmed, but with a piece of apple pie? Who knows.

Flashing back to her time at The Farm, Jane is eating takeout with her boss and learns that she was passed up for a promotion by a man. She reveals that she thinks Jane is special. Oh, she’s special all right. This seems to be where her strange love of Wii came from. In present day, Sinatra gifts Jane with a Nintendo Switch. How many of those do they have just stockpiled down there? Have to get your product placement in somehow, I guess. Sinatra’s daughter begins to question her mom about what’s going on, and Sinatra tries to reassure her, but her daughter does not appear convinced.

In the past, Jane approaches the guy that beat Thomas in the running for a promotion. She asks him to step down, but he tells her to kick rocks. Next we see her arrive at Thomas’s place with a gift bag. She tells Jane that she heard that that same guy was attacked and is in surgery. Jane tells her that the item in the bag is the reason he got the promotion over her. UMMM JANE. WTF
In the present, Jane is in Sinatra’s office, mimicking Sinatra speaking to her. This girl is unwell at best. Gabriella arrives to talk to Jane and confront her about what she did to Billy, Baines, and Robinson. She lets Jane know that she knows Sinatra is up to something and that she’s coming for her. And Jane gives her a direct threat. At home, Sinatra’s daughter reaches out to Presley to let her know that they’ve been sending people to the prison below and that she wants to help.

Down in the prison, Jeremy and the engineer are working to take their plan into action mode. And Robinson decides to join them in order to protect Cal’s son.

Meanwhile, Xavier is setting up his bomb at the train yard while Gary keeps watch. But then Gary starts to do something to the wires and Xavier makes him promise to take care of Teri if something happens to him. But then he apologizes and detonates the bomb!!!!! GARY IS THE WORST. Miraculously, Xavier survives but is discovered by the group at the trainyard. As they begin to rush towards him, HE SEES TERI!!! She does not appear to be held against her will, by the way. Because GARY IS A LIAR.
